Clear tape for the tail-lamps, presumably transparent treatment to the rear window, and special attention to keeping the license plate visible?

I’d give it a solid B for effort. Maybe a B+ .

I give it a C. I would give it a B if the tape was color matched, and an A if it were color matched and still opened.
